2) What is your return policy?

If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your frames, you may return them,within 14 days for a refund. Refunds will be issued within 7 business days from receipt of the item and will be subject to a 20% restocking fee. Shipping costs will not be refunded. If you opted for FREE SHIPPING keep in mind shipping costs will be deducted from your order upon return.

Please contact us at sales@ShipMyShades.com to let us know about the return and you will be issued a RMA #. The item must be in brand new perfect condition, the same as when you received it. All returned merchandise must be in its original saleable condition when received. Please be sure to include all of the original material that we sent with the merchandise.

Items must be sent via any Insured Carrier for shipment with Signature Confirmation.
We cannot be responsible for items that are lost in the mail on the way back to us. Always add a tracking number when possible!

Please write your name, address, email address, order number, and date you placed the order on a separate piece of paper. Send this information in the package to our address that can be found on the Contact Us Page

In the event we have to special order an item for you there are no refunds or exchanges.
The items are FINAL SALE.

3)  Do you price match?

We will match any advertised price. You can email us at sales@ShipMyShades.com with a link to the website where the glasses are advertised, and we will adjust your individual sale price AND TAKE AN ADDITIONAL $5 OFF YOUR ORDER!

4)  What is your Exchange policy?

We want to you rest assure that exchanging items that you are not happy with is easy at ShipMyShades.com. Simply contact us and send your order back within 14 days of initial delivery and we will happily make all the neccessary arrangements. If you paid with a credit card we will bill your card for the difference in price or credit your card if there is a credit. Shipping fees will be charged once again. Send to the following address:

Please keep in mind all exchanges will be subject to a 20% exchange fee. Please do not place an order if you don't know how the glasses will fit on your face. Once you order the item we assume you intend to keep it.

5)  Can i Cancel my order?

In the event the order is cancelled before we ship the item, a 20% cancellation fee will be applied.. Shipping costs will be refunded completely. The reason behind this process is that once you place an order it goes right to our vendors for shipping and we are not able to stop the order.

6)  What is your international shipping policy?

All items that are sent overseas are shipped with the United States Postal Service. The items are ALL MARKED AS GIFT so that there are NO CUSTOMS FEES , NO DUTIES and NO TAXES. We do all we can to make our international customers happy.
All Shipping outside of the United States is considered International.
Standard International Shipping is $29.99 USD
Expedited International Shipping is $35 USD

7)  Prescription Orders?

All orders for prescription eyeglasses are considered a special order. Prescription orders do not adhere to the normal 72 hours processing time. Prescription orders may take up to 7 business days to process. We do NOT do refunds or exchanges on Prescription Orders. If you would like to have a prescription filled on sunglasses or eyeglasses, please contact us for more details

8)  Safe Shopping Guarantee:

We guarantee that every online transaction you make with ShipMyShades will be 100% safe. This means you pay nothing if unauthorized charges are made to your card as a result of shopping at our online store. Under the Fair Credit Billing Act, your bank cannot hold you liable for more than $50.00 of fraudulent charges. If your bank does hold you liable for any of this $50.00, we will cover the entire liability for you, up to the full $50.00. We will only cover this liability if the unauthorized use of your credit card resulted through no fault of your own from purchases made while using the secure server. In the event of unauthorized use of your credit card, you must notify your credit card provider in accordance with its reporting rules and procedure

9)  What is UV Protection?

The sun emits ultraviolet radiation which is damaging to the eyes. Lenses with ultraviolet protection prevent that harmful radiation from touching your eyes. Polycarbonate, high index, polarized, and sun-sensitive lenses all automatically contain UV protection. Hard resin lenses need an additional coating to add UV protection. According to United States Federal law, all sunglasses sold in the United States must have UV protection. However, many low-priced sunglasses for sale through street vendors do not comply with this rule. Using tinted lenses without UV protection is extremely damaging to your eyes, because the dark tint causes your pupils to dilate and increases the surface area of your retina that can be damaged by the ultraviolet radiation.

10)  What are Polarized lenses?

Polarized lenses are used in sunglasses to reduce glare from reflective surfaces such as the surface of water or the hood of a car. They accomplish this through a process called polarization, much like a venetian blind controls sunlight through a window. Sunlight itself is not polarized - light from the sun will either be absorbed or reflected horizontally, diagonally or vertically. The problem this causes lies in the horizontal reflectivity. Sunlight bouncing off a horizontal surface will strike the viewer's eyes at a similar angle. This means the glare from the surface of the water or the road or the car hood will be B. Polarized lenses have a laminated surface containing vertical stripes. These stripes only allow vertically-polarized light to enter the wearer's eyes. Glare is eliminated because the horizontally-polarized lightwaves cannot bypass the polarized filter.
